Music Doesn't Sleep

G BOI is the Founder & CEO of GBOI-ENT with affiliation and partnership with Da Factory Music Or Nuthin ( founder and CEO Yog Westwood).

As a native of Chicago, he started his interest in music a year after moving to Arizona in 1996. Since going to prison in 2003, he’s been brushing shoulders with different people and learning new ways to make the legal hustles happen so that he may focus on his career without the worry of his freedom being jeopardized. After being introduced to Yog Westwood, GBOI and his team which consisted of Big Feasy, JS Da Future, and Guccie hit the local scene tough dropping projects and exploding into the local show scene. Unfortunately some time after, Big Feasy and JS ran into some trouble and had to serve time.

GBOI, being even more determined now than ever, took his game to a whole new level, with moves that lead to an out-of-state show in Tulare, CA and his 1st tour alongside Afroman, Lil Whyte, and Property Six. He’s opened for artists such as Yukmouth, Lighter Shade of Brown, Glasses Malone, Jayo Felony, Big Hutch, Coolio, T-Nutty, and Lil Flip.  GBOI has also worked with some of Arizona’s most known artists like Big Wax (Yung Wax), Rico Bandz, Griffin Boyz, and TwanSac, just to name a few.

In 2014 GBOI released 2 albums entitled "
Dat's My Word" and "My Own Breed" (M.O.B), which are available at all music retailers such as iTunes, Rhapsody, Spotify, Emusic, etc. His most recent projects, consisted of 2 singles entitled “Certified” and “My Life”, and were released in 2015. During 2015 he was nominated for 2 awards at the Arizona Hoodie Awards where he placed 2nd for "Best Lyricist". He also tied for 2nd in a rap competition for $1,000 presented by DJ Madskillz.
